Obewon,

My work is not remotely close these technologies and everything I
know is from different public sources. I try to follow the tech trend
and one of the obvious thing is when high speed I/O comes out
(Gigabit Ethernet, AGP), you have to clear the path to the CPU and
the memory. From EE Time, Intel is working with Rambus on 16 bit
wide implementation.

Rambus has made a lot of Asian RAM manufacturers very nervous.
And I will not be suprised if there are more competing technology. I do
not know what the future will be but I think Rambus will be an
important part of it.
