Rajiv,

I am currently not short. I take exception to this point:

The barriers of entry to a wannabe-level might be small
but they are vastly different for leadership status.

The barriers to entry for a fault tolerant system that is basically the equivalent to a transaction processing system that must work in real-time twenty four hours a day, seven days a week should not be underestimated.

CKFR spent tens of millions of dollars with their partners of IBM and leading banks building such a system that operates under the Integrion consortium.

Redundant systems with seamless transitions in the case of problems are a tricky business. that almost requires Tandem computers which ain't cheap and a lot of sophisticated custom application software (also not cheap). Most businesses can afford it only by using a lot of existing code and hardware and easing into this type of activity.

FWIW,

Dave
