Thanks for the Computer Bits ISP listing link, Eric. You're right, I guess I haven't looked hard enough. I found 8 ISP's offering local access to my area. There are actually 9 listed, but one I know has been bought out by my current ISP. Now I'm going to find out if any of them use USR modems, and if any do, I'll put in my request for 56K access.

I've thought of calling USR, but if they are listing all the ISP's offering 56K access on their web-page, then there isn't yet one in my area.
