Maybe I don't know enough about MACROVISION. All I know is that it is in monopoly position for analogy copy protection. The industry is hurting big by pirating. Star War's VCD is available for sell in China and HK now for US$5.00. I am sure DVD will take off eventually and Macrovision will enjoy exponential growth in the next 3 years.
