HI Ken and Eric: Maybe you guys or someone else can fill me in on
their program. Is their current program in the UP of Mich looking
for a copper or a nickel source. The reason I am asking is I believe
last year the White Pine Smelting facility was shut down, because the
current owners felt they couldnt produce smelt the copper and be profitable. Then subsequently sometime later it reopened with a skeleton crew and they were installing updated equipment this was after Copper Mines incorporated bought the facility. So my question
is I understand Bitteroot is the exploration arm of Copper Mine Inc.
Would they be exploring for new copper sources or is nickel the target? I have snooped around the UP over the last several years,
and thought most of the copper sources were depleted after the turn of
the century. The White Pine facility is near Ontanagon, Mich and I
know a few people in the area especially those that lost jobs would be
more than encouraged knowing the intentions of Copper Mine Inc (I hope
that is the right name.)
Sincerely
George
