True, the spellchecker IS inconsistent. It let "hebce" through, for example. (No, Christopher, I did not uncheck anything.)

I will now try an experiment. I will send through a passel of deliberately misspelled and/or invented words, to see whether they all get highlighted:

holp hulp heep horck hooble honck hebce henbit horbit hunck hoople hurble hordle honger hoopler humber howny hoodwonk woodoo

Heck, they ALL got zapped. Let's try again:

damm nutz fouey ratzz cow patooty dawgawn schlits honkahonka

Well, look at that: it let "damm" (double-m damn) pass (along with "cow", of course)!
