Michael Brody, "To err is human." So Casey could be wrong. However, I hope he is right. Casey is a highly insightful and savvy guy who has made a number of correct calls and made a lot of money on gold besides other types of investments, and I still have confidence in him. His correct calls included Diamond Fields Resources, Bre-X, Francisco Gold, Bema Gold, Arizona Star, Corriente and Yamana etc. He was right on last summer when he predicted that problems lay ahead for Bre-X. But he missed out on a big one (AREQUIPA) and he apologised to his readers. In late 1995 he ventured that 1996 might well be the year for gold. Well, he was almost right, at least until early May. Then he correctly advised drastic reductions on holdings of junior golds (i.e. for every $2 out, $1 in). He then advised buying private placements on some of the junior golds. Apparently he is still very optimistic about the return of gold. Richnorth
