I really don't see a problem. Today's weapons are so complex that all manner of subcontractors are used, even small machine shops. I've personally found Japanese components inside guided missiles. The "buy American" law is kind of old hat, was primarily due to lobbying by defense contractors in its origin. America purchases all manner of strategic materials from foreign countries. Valence is a bidder on defense contracts, but their association with Alliant, a major defense contractor, gives them an edge in certain situations.
