Trev -

It's really amazing how differently we see this.

Mountain is controlled by several large companies, who I think want their liquid assets back.
Camphor is controlled by management and a few little guys like me (I've got 2-1/2%). Anybody who is in Camphor CERTAINLY isn't in it for the liquidity.

DeBeers is likely to bid - the instant the tonnage and $/ton numbers are out - for both MPV and CFV. I'd guess at maybe $4-$5 for MPV (I don't think it'll be anything like the $15 I've read here. DeBeers is not exactly a "Fairy Godmother" type of company).

It'll be hard for Mountain to get a whole lot more. Look at the discount on Aber and Diamet. and how close they both are to production. MPVs discount this far away will be correspondingly higher.

Camphor will have no problem with their shareholders and will be able to say 'NO THANK YOU'. They have an positive cash flow now, and can afford to wait for either a decent offer, or just hold on for production (4% of $120M/year profit?).

That's my take, and the differences between us are what make markets.

Be interesting to see who's right (if either).

GOOD LUCK!

Al K
