Stephen, first of all you would be sharing with everyone, long and short alike. If your case was convincing enough, you might even cause a few buys to occur, which could only help your long position. The highest and best use of SI is to share information, not as an adversarial forum. Whether you believe it or not, we all have the same objective here, to make money. But don't worry too much, I know you don't have any substantive 'research and analysis' that points to this company being a long.

My post basically said that while weak financially, the company still has options to raise money, but that establishing evidence that a market exists for that product would make raising additional funds easier. I made no recommendation to short or go long this company. Nevertheless you took issue with a statement that seems obvious, but provided no insight as to what you disagreed with. Since I don't follow this thread, or this company, I will conclude from this post that you are disagreeing with my post as a long, and that you apparently think they have plenty of money and do not need to raise more.

What a strange thread. The shorts have more class and dignity than the longs. That is a role reversal.
