Big sympathy. I know how hard you trained for that. Diving in GOOD water ( from -20 to +20 degrees of latitude) is a pleasure. Like taking acid without the need to confess.

As fer alcohol and Valium - you know me, I hardly drink. My liver has gone soft on me. I had one Heineken in the wonderful bakey poolside sunshine and felt torqued to specs. Back to intoxicants I can understand, like Xanax or Demerol or even the odd Nembutal.

<edit> Ironic. Nembutal is the dreaded "reds" of '60s argot and it is the only tradename to not light up under the spellchecker.
