Ohhh, I am soooo glad to find this thread....
I so hope that someone can help me.

I have a MAC and my friend does not...
When she sends me an e-mail, cut & pasted from MS Word, upon receipt, the background color is so dark blue that I can barely read the text. She did not alter the background color in her original composition.
Does anyone know how to remedy this situation?

Thanks so much, in advance,
My best,
~T.

hi donald,

glad you found that sneaky jfax in your printer folder. i bet if you right click on the jfax icon and select delete, your probs will end.

also glad you found your way to the ms newsgroups. i'm a big fan of the netscape newsgroups. so much for us to learn, huh?

let us know when you've got the jfax thing ironed out, okay?

:)

"I think I'm on to something. I checked the printer folder under control panel
and there was a JFAX folder. Haven't done anything yet but I bet that's the culprit."

Interesting. I'm not familiar with what the JFAX program does, but considering the name, I take it it's some kind of faxing software. It does make sense for it to place something in the Printers folder...just as Winfax and Bitfax do. That way you could 'print' directly to fax from apps such as Microsoft Word. Intriguing. What happens when you try to delete it?
