I agree with you regarding the future upward movement of MSFT stock but think you overweight the importance of the shadow cast by this flimsy suit. MSFT will be around long after the Clintonistas have gone their merry way.MSFT has been under indicment for some time now and the price of the stock has moved up and down under the weight of this uncertainty. Indeed the DOJ has added an element of uncertainty but the outcomes even in the worst case cannot be enough to even dampen the earning power imbedded in just the release of Office 2k alone (15,000,000 copies ordered already).

No the stock is a victim of highly paid money mgrs. using the DOJ debacle to exit MSFT (and other techs) for the slippery slope of a quick buck in the cyclicals. They will come flooding back to MSFT soon saying how well they did in the rustbelt while waiting for clarity in the MSFT situation. Because of the size of these players much of their prohecy is self fulfilling. Get on board before the big jerks come clamoring back on.

I am not sure however why you are mailing your responses to option007 to me. It makes for a little confusion in the dialogue.
