NOW WE'RE TALKING. . . . Great job, Jason W. . on . . . . . . SHOE COMPANIES.

This is the sort of work where we are all the benefactors. Thanks so much.

SKX [Skechers] . . . I am crazy about their shoes. . .the quality is outrageous. . .and I consider their products to be a terrific value. I own several pair and look for them whenever I go into a shoe store.

Oddly enough, the teens weren't crazy about the new high-tech looking line [you should see me in department stores. . .asking hundreds of questions and getting candid opinions from customers, employees and managers]. . .like the Skechers advertised in Teen People. Too slick.

As for an IPO in this market? Good Luck. 13-15? We should be able to load up at 40 to 50 percent off retail. . .the stock, not the shoe.

I also like SHOO. Steve Madden has re-defined footwear for younger generations. . .and I believe the company has "plenty of room to grow into" itself.

Haven't looked at SHOO lately, but loved them about 9 months ago. Will look tomorrow. . . uh, er.. . .in a few hours.

Jason, as a landscaper I am very hard on my work-boots... often wearing them in the rain and mud, always using them to pack dirt in around trees, step-in edging, grading beds... whatever.

I had never found a pair of boots that lasted more than one season until I purchased some Wolverine's. I got two years out of that pair and then I bought some Caterpillars (unaware that they are manufactured by WWW). Was very weary of these boots at first... "Caterpillar boots?" I asked myself? Now I know why I'm going on my second season with these boots... they're made by WWW!

Just thought I'd also share some first hand experience in the shoe market. One other thing to take note of: Word of mouth on the jobsite is what sells these work-boots, and believe me, there are a lot of Caterpillars moving about here in MN.

BTW, if I ever am fortunate enough to have a pair of boots last me three years in this industry (highly unlikely), you'll be the first to know. :-)
