No, I think what you are supposed to say, is

"Dear Friend, I am so pleased that you spelled so many words correctly. You never misspell such words as "the," "and," "or," or "are." And you use grammar properly in almost all of your sentences. It's such a pleasure to read your declarative sentences. However, you do sometimes confuse the word "their" for the word "they're," and the word "your" for the word "you're." I know these are just little things, and that I may seem picky, but, it would make your writing more understandable if you would try to make these little changes. If it's not too much trouble."

Then no one will use the "b" word when they are talking about you in the third person.
