So then if you are right then everyone who bought Aol on Friday sending stock up $12 were idiots. I believe you are mis-informed and do not realize implications. Aol will not give up business and go bankrupt. They will force cable companies to give access and then will dominate with their service just like they do on computers. Aol already has signed deals with satellite companies. Point is Go2Net is no longer alone. Aol may offer Allan better deal....

Thanks Sleeper for your informed response, and the 'double feature' part of your comment! LOL!!! I've enjoyed many of the interchanges here on SI for some time,and am learning much, so finally became a life member. In addition to SI and StockSite, LOVE Metacrawler. Got another notice of "new virus" (California & Wobbler), went to Metacrawler, and voila'....another new hoax... IMO, if everyone really understood the power of Metacrawler, we would have 10MM+ hits a week!!! Ask any true researcher, including those of us who want more info on any number of companies, or job seekers, or genealogists, etc! Have held GNET since Nov 97, and will continue to go l-o-n-g!
