AOL has no cable partner. (They did sign up with Directv, though.) In any case (no pun), GNET is only one piece of PA's empire. And think of the cost of upgrading cable to be two-way. No one has the answers to it all, but Paul Allen is in an excellent position to have a lot of clues. (And, no, we don't need to discuss the possibility of his demise - that has previously been thrashed out, as well you know.)

So I suppose you also think Yahoo is ruined then? Yahoo is also a portal or did you forget that.
