Am I missing something here, or is this stock a big fat series of privacy lawsuits just waiting to happen? The demand now is for more medical privacy, not less. The idea of multiple doctor's offices sharing information may be a desire of some bureaucrat, but the public sentiment, laws and court precedents are definitely moving in another direction.

If the public thinks that a patient's fertility problems, venereal diseases, number of miscarriages, antidepressants, prostate problems, Viagra scripts as easily accessable (passwords won't fully contain this) to the public is a good idea, then maybe I have the temperature of the country all wrong. In fact, look at the precedent set with anti HIV disclosure laws. Look at other court precedents like Pettus v. Cole in California (and that involved a NONCONFIDENTIAL report). Look at the California Medical Privacy Act. To me it seems this company is barking up the wrong tree.

BTW, Beech St., one of their major customers, is widely despised within the medical community for intolerable cost cutting.
