Thanks so much for the encouragement, Sultan. I value your opinion and that is a wonderful article. I first started buying GEMS on 2/11/97 at a price of 14 5/8, but since I was using AIM I averaged down and made money during a subsequent run up. After that, it went down so far I couldn't keep buying according to AIM because all my money would have gone into GEMS -- I'd have had to sell everything else I own. It just went down too much, has stayed down too long. Every so often I do buy a bit more, though. The fact that I've lost patience is probably a good sign for an impending turnaround. :)
