Raymond. . .that sounds about right. . . I know the audio is hoping for about a half-mil bps/sec. . .though standards are still being argued.

Sorry for the wrong term on that pasted statement. . . should have read:

Wireless broadband, via MICROWAVE will survive in limited areas. . .

Also, I tend to confuse whatever I cannot see. . <g>

Again, sorry for throwing you for a loop. . . my point remains. . .I think microwave driven broadband wireless will be primarily focused for use where cables cannot be run or where many users can tap into a single system, such as large business complexes, apartments and the like. . . but I don't see it getting into residential neighborhoods. . .that will be strictly digital cable, IMO.

And again, I see xDSL as dead tech. . .I've followed PAIR and ORCTF, etc. for many years, but just don't see that competing with fibre, save some VERY limited use in rural areas. . .but not many building there businesses on that market.
