Hello, Steve. I'd like your opinion on DSL vs. Cable growth.

From what I've read, cable performance severely degrades as more users come on-line, as opposed to DSL which is a dedicated data line, albeit one of copper.

Cable (modem) availability seems sporadic (at least near NYC) and DSL installations are subject to the infamous inefficiency and lag times of the local Bells (in my case BELL ATLANTIC) to the point of severely prohibiting the growth of companies like NPNT and COVD.

Because of these reasons, I remain neutral on which technology is "better", or which offers the more "explosive" investment/trading opportunity, so your opinion on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Specifically, what are you seeing with installation and/or sales numbers for companies specializing in these technologies.

Thanks,
Scrumpy
