Steve, if we should see some pre-holiday net stock interest in the fall, when do you expect investors to pull out to protect their investments from the Y2K?

Steve,

I am interested in your opinion on ISP's such as ELNK and MSPG. Do you think they will play follow the leader to AOL? I think the steps that ELNK has taken are great strides in becoming a heavy hitter in the ISP world but do not like the fact that it has been letting AOL dictate its value. What major events need to take place for the ISP's to rebound or are we now going to take a step back and wait to see if these companies keep growing before we buy these stocks? As for the internet related issues I think that there are few companies that will prevail, it seems that evceryone is tring to get some of the gold without realizing that it takes more than just a .com to make a company. What companies do you like for the long-term and where do you feel the future is going? I would be pleased to hear some of your comments and look forward to your response.

You gave PTEK somewhat favorable mention; and just wondering if you like theym better for their core business - which is like $500 mill/yr in revenues; or their stakes in USA.net; Healtheon (HLTH); & some others. Thanks.

""Steve: Just made good money off your HSAC pick. I'm current holding Winfield Capital Corporation and Premiere Technologies. Both seem like very undervalued stocks right at the moment. Would appreciate your thoughts."
Reply: Winfield (NASDAQ:WCAP - news) has had some success as a closed-end fund firm while Premiere Technologies (NASDAQ:PTEK - news) boasts unified Web-based messaging. WCAP to me is a small player in the Web investing space while PTEK posted $112.8 million in first quarter, with $25 million loss.

Of the two PTEK looks undervalued to me while WCAP depends on its investment prowess--I'll wait longer to see what it does." - per S. Harmon
