Max, I think DELL is reacting to what many believe is a rough road the next 6-18 months for computer hardware, particularly in the corporate market. There is no doubt that DELL has been a great stock and while it'll have its moments of weakness I'm sure it'll outperform it's peers as it is very well run. The I-NUT's, well that's another story. In a nutshell the barriers to entry are low (in general) and change moves at a torrid pace. How do you figure out who is going to be making what in 5 years? To do a quick hit during the past momentum streak of 6 months is one thing, to buy some of these companies and put it away for 5 years, well, not at these prices anyway.
Best Regards, Mad2

Good post Max. Don't forget seasonability. The tech sector, for example, is usually weak in late May but rebounds strongly. Stocks like DELL outperform the market in late June/early July through January. This pattern has held up over the last nine years with only one year being an exception (1995).
