I just checked the hard data... The 5th day just missed completing the 3rd day's requirements of closing above 3rd's opening by 4 points. It cleared the 1st days easily. Chip

Right, I constantly look for these patterns at possible reversal points all the time, I rarely find them..... but once they're formed, the reliability is very high, 85% or more for the 3, 5, and 7 day patterns..... You've never heard me even mention these patterns since you've known me to post on SI, that's how rare they are... I always look for them but this is the first time I've seen this pattern in recent memory..... GZ
