OJ: Well, I use a combination of indicators to make investments, swing trades and mostly as of late daytrades. When I think the Market is making a medium-term trend change I am taking a very conservative stance with our Retirement Portfolios, family member Retirement Portfolios and as of late, our Primary Retail Investment Portfolio as well. So, prior to last summer's decline and just prior to April I went to cash. So as of late I have been swing trading and daytrading only. I use two investment software packages to make both investment and daytrading entry and exit plans. However, during the trading day QCharts is my main vehicle. The "end of day" charts you see posted on the MDA Web Site are produced by Window on Wall Street's Day Trader 7. I use several indicators and techniques with QCharts: (Using 5-minute and 60-minute interval charts primarily with 10, 15, 30 minute and daily intervals used for confirmation.) 1- Chart Formations 2- One set of Crossing Moving averages 3- MACD 4- Directional Movement 5- Stochastics 6- Volume 7- Time/Sales Analysis 8- Level II Analysis (when applicable) In addition to tracking approximately on average 8-13 stocks daily for entry and exit points, I monitor 23 Indexes and 25 Stocks as Indicators. I also check three Hot List regularly through out the trading day...US Stocks Percent Gain, Percent Loss and Volume. My Workspace includes: Three charts, one quote sheet tracking Indexes and Equities, two additional quote sheets set up to monitor profit and loss...one for investments and one for daytrading, one level II window and last but not least the three above mentioned hot list. Sorry, I do not give out the exact formulas for any indicators. Regards, LG
