Hello Brian.

I agree - little premature to draw definitive conclusions ; however , I place considerable significance on the grade of the "non-twinned" holes and the suggestion of greater depth. IOW , the other shoe that I have been waiting to drop on this asset is beginning its descent.

As for the share price , I also agree that in the absence of a champion , the games will continue - I found that $4.99 ask this morning particularly funny (in a sick sort of way).Regards.

Good grades are coming from the epiclastic kimberlite grit, not from the other two types of kimberlite in the pipe. We don't know how much of each there is,...at least I don't. The epiclastic kimberlite sandstone and volcaniclastic kimberlite breccia has much lower grades, so far. The weathered, higher grade portion of the pipe would be the grits and sanstones, I'm assuming, leaving a large part of the pipe to be low grade volcaniclastic kimberlite breccia,... 5.2 carats per hundred tonnes. They say they are concentrating on the top 80 meters of the pipe which is implied to be the weathered part. I assume that is still a big bunch of kimberlite considering the size of the pipe,..160 hectares. I hope it is composed mostly of the epiclastic kimberlite grit.

At US$200 per carat, the low grade rock would give US$10 per tonne or US$35000 per day at 3500 tonnes per day. The high grade rock would yield 8 times that value. I hope there is a lot of that high grade rock!

I'm guessing only the upper parts of this pipe are economically mineable, but I'm willing to be proven wrong. Keep in mind as long as this war continues, the risk is great.

russett is worried.
