Who needs wacky Microsoft conspiracies, religious prophecies, solar max worries, automobile ignition date worries and microwave oven clock panic, ... when we've go the FAA?

My belief that "the FAA is lying" is about the only Y2K fact I am 100 percent certain of. You can have reasonable doubts on any of the other stuff mentioned, but how can anyone in their right mind believe the FAA?

It doesn't take a very complicated argument to see that economic effects of significant flight reductions could be quite large.
