OT donnie wants me to get a harley
You may want to consider a sidecar. Then you don't need to pick it up so often.

OT: Personally I'd stay away from Suzuki. Had a small one as a kid. Service is hard to find in some areas. If I were going with a Japanese
bike it would be a Honda then Yamaha. JMHO. ps. Shaft drive is the smoothest ride.

otot Not many people are strong enough to pick a Harley up, I'm 6' 1" 195 pounds, lift weights, ride my bicycle 30 miles every other day, I couldn't left up a cruser, bad back. I have been reading about BMW's new cruser looks cool, but it's not a Harley. Why buy one of those rice burners anyhow.. Buy American. <ggg>

ot: Buy the Harley. Why are you concerned with picking it up? Harleys are like Dell....if I had to explain to you the difference, you wouldn't understand.

Luck,

OTOT - GRANOLA: why not a Ducati Monster? 380 lbs., great engine
( 650, 750 (the best one, imo ) and 900 cc) the greatest frame you can find, solid like a rock, and powerful Brembo competition brakes. I own a Ducati, and have found it amazing.

Regards - Lancer

<OT> "donnie wants me to get a harley but i am not strong enuf to pick it up...suzuki weighs 350 lbs..."

Do you want to lift a bike, or ride one? I've owned "all kinds" of bikes over the last 30 years...and how well you can "pick it up" shouldn't be much of a consideration. Virtually nobody that rides a large bike can lift it...me included. My current ride is a 1999 Harley Road King. 740 lbs. dry. Before this, I rode a Honda Gold Wing for 16 years. 720 lbs. dry. Never had any reason to "lift" it. What the size and weight do give you is stability and security. A 350 lb. bike is going to get blown all over the road by every vehicle that comes near it...especially trucks.

If you are not a real big person...I recommend a Harley Sportster. Well built, powerful, great resale when you're ready for more, and you'll be riding a true American legend...not a Jap knock-off.
