I should be built into the system. I recently bought a DVD player. From talking shop with salespeople and looking on the net, I learned that don't get a DVD player unless it has DTS. Unless you plan on buying another one in the next year. I haven't seen too many movies with DTS though, so it's it's probably another high-end enhancement type thing. Who knows, I'm happy with mine.
