Kernan gave his regular down-spin to AOL reporting.
He sure helps the shorts.

The fund situation is not so complicated. I do not believe they are waiting for lower prices to buy. They are simply waiting for a clearer picture on interest rates. I'd say the street is about 50-50 on whether the Fed will raise at the end of the month. This is certainly not a good time to add to positions. If anything, it is a time to take cash off the table and wait and see. All the recent data has been mixed, with Friday's unemployment the most confusing of all. IMO, there will be NO major upsurge in AOL until after PPI this Friday and then CPI next WED. Very weak #s will help. Flat #s will only continue the debate. Strong #s will cause a selloff.
