TLC, one thing that you have to remember is that with a cable modem you are sharing that bandwidth with potentially a lot of other cable modems. Depending on how many modems your cable company puts on a chanel and what the other users are doing with it, your bandwidth can go way down. With a t1 and adsl you have all that bandwidth to yourself.
