Lorrie - you'll have to provide a little more detail on the source and scope of the information for me to assume that what ever "it" is is true. Domestic violence is a serious problem, and I have some personal experience in dealing with the results of it - it doesn't help the cause, however, to cite anecdotal references to statistics that could be categorically rejected by the majority of people who hear them. It's the same thing said about the supposed statistic that half of all marriages fail - they don't. For example, in any given year, let's say 100,000 couples may marry and 50,000 may divorce - which is the popular, but clueless 50% statistical story. The real number is that millions (already married) + 100,000 newly-married should be divided by the divorced number. But the myth goes on. Mr. K.
