<<ny word on the U-8? Will that likely be a one platter machine with a higher density platter? It sounds like it is also designed to be a low cost drive to capture the market that looks at price over performance>> If I recall correctly, U-8 was to use processing by the PC to substite for on board processing. Would obviously degrade performance and not be suitable for consumer products. Can anyone provide an explanation of design cost savings in the U-4? The vertical integration explanation doesn't impress me much. -Z
