Hello Eliz. Just returned from the Outer Banks of NC and find my internet portfolio in ruins. Well, almost. Most disturbing is the drop in AOL. It looks like traders, and probably investors, are throwing all the babies out with the bath water. Umm, umm. Sure would like to catch some falling knives but better read up some more on all the news. Here is an interesting write up featuring AOL: fnews.yahoo.com Some of our techs seem to be holding fairly well. Intc is actually up on my return. I guess interest rate jitters are hitting interest rate sensitive stocks. I did hear a glimpse of the Greenspan speak. Hm. I am not quite sure why higher interest rates should affect the internets to this extend. Most are down about 50% in the last cpl of weeks. Eliz. It sure looks like your method of selling some of your doubles are paying off. I think I missed out on some of my high profits. But maybe things will turn around soon. The third qtr should come up with some higher earnings if the FED does not go crazy. The market always goes overboard at the slightest hint of problems. Let's hope things will stay fairly calm despite all the actions going on this week. Things like PPI and there are those triple witches on Friday. Maybe they will jump high over their brooms and give us sky high prices for Friday. Sigh. Where is everybody? Did everybody sell out? I took the time out to post even though I am not even settled in yet. Come on guys and girls. Give us something to hang our hats on. Sonny
