x-stream, according to an earlier post, is in third place in free Internet service in the UK behind FreeServe (1.5 million subscribers) and AOL - UK. I've been reading for a month now x-stream has 350,000 subscribers. With the way the subscriber list has been skyrocketing, they must have topped over 400,000 by now. On top of that, Jacalyn's post 1037 (newspaper report) quotes Paul Myers, managing director of x-stream network, claiming to recruit between 300-500 = 400 disgruntled FreeServe users a day. Does that mean X-Stream could be picking up 120,000 subscribers per month from FreeServe? (400 subscribers x 30 days per month) If so, it shouldn't take long for x-stream to top 1/2 million users.?? That's about 1/3 of FreeServe and now we hear FreeServe could be valued up to US$3.23 billion. That's big news today.!!!
