Regarding opening access. Has anyone released the details on how exactly T is going to open a local cable loop. It is not like the telephone local loop where a dedicated line runs from a home to the CO. How does a company like AOL expect to provide service to a particular AOL home, using the same cable that T uses to deliver Internet access. Are they going to use a DOCSIS compliant modem? Is anyone home over in the AOL engineering department, perhaps they are too busy working on their instant messenger! You've got mail! Just curious.
