Thank you...Did I mention that I chaperoned a school trip last month? My son is in high- school chorus, and the chorus and a couple of the instrumental groups had a chance to play at Lincoln Center, in the plaza by the fountain. I have been taking my son with us on trips to New York since the end of his first grade year (we make one or two a year). We used to stay at the Empire Hotel, which is across the street from Lincoln Center, and in the evenings we would wander around Lincoln Center, looking at the lobbies and listening to jazz bands play outside of Avery Fisher Hall. There he was, almost as tall as I am, in his tuxedo shirt and bow- tie, performing where we used to stroll. I thought I caught a glimpse of the three of us, perhaps when he was 7, out of the corner of my eye...
