The year was 1661, on the death of his godfather and prime minister, Cardinal Mazarin, the 23-year-old monarch Louis XIV announced that he himself would govern. Known as "the Sun King" (le Roi Soleil), there is no doubt that Louis XIV was one of the greatest monarchs of his age.
In the spirit of great leadership, the Conference will serve as a forum for venture capitalists and CEOs of emerging growth multinational companies to discuss issues of common interest, define new areas of business development and financing, and explore opportunities for joint venturing.

Our goal is to discuss real world business issues and debate the merit of different solutions. Pat,

It would appear that NN is bringing together those who have the ideas with those who have the money to socialise for a couple evenings and work with each other for a day.

If I were to guess, I'd suspect that this might be Terry rather than Alan spearheading this initiative.

It looks like it could be a very interesting session for those invited to get a good handle on what the consumer (ISPs, Carriers) wants vs what the entrepreneurs think they can deliver.
