here's what's up with NPEC. (the quotes are direct, the rest is paraphrasing the best I can.) I spoke with NPEC's Dave earlier this afternoon. He said that their "joint venture partner's" attorney wants to ensure that the two companies releases' coincide and correlate. Unfortunately their attorney was not available Friday afternoon. He said he "believed" that the news would be out Monday, but would only "guarantee" that it "would be out early next week". He further stated that "There are a series of news releases coming out over the next 2-3 weeks" which will put together the puzzle that's forming in everyone's minds as to what is going to happen with NPEC and MetroPlus. Reasons to buy and keep... News of Joint Venture. News of Financing. News of Coming Financials. News of Doing Something or Other with AT&T. News of Spin-Off of MetroPlus Telephony. All this in the next 3-4 weeks, and not necessarily in that order. It would be especially nice if they promote the June 11th meetings with AT&T, and any forthcoming events like Spin-Off etc. Give us some dates to looks forward to! The more i look at this, the more it looks like a short as well as long term play, could be one of the best.
