PG - I've done some more digging on MMR, and have found some things that I'm not happy about. I think I remember reading in one of Peter Lynch's books that he liked management to be suitably motivated by share options/ownership, but did not like to see them having a controlling interest. A little more investigation reveals that a controlling interest in MMR is in the hands of very few players - many of whom seem to be related. I do not intend to go any further with this one....... (Ironically I still feel comfortable with MEXP, which is probably in a less favorable position! Oh well). Thx for the Canadian suggestions. Unfortunately, I am not keen on buying Canadian stocks. (The US is already a "foreign" market for me, but is one that I feel comfortable with. I am not ready to go any further afield just yet!) Mark
