Well I was wondering why MAT was down a point-plus on large volume. I will read the WSJ article tonight. My knee-jerk reaction, without having read the article (but having read similarly negative portrayals of her) is that this is not the first time Jill Barad has been portrayed as an airhead and certainly will not be the last. It makes for good copy, and Jill Barad as the female CEO of a company whose lead product is the oft-maligned Barbie doll is an easy target. Of course if the criticism proves to be more gender-based baiting than factual, Jill will most definitely have the last laugh.
