So what is your point? <GGGGG> I feel like I am witnessing a game of "chicken." (You know, the game where two cars race toward each other, with the driver that swerves being declared the loser.) On side is the long term interest rate, racing toward the 6% level. On the other side is the stock market, moving just as fast past 11,000 on the DJIA. Both equities and interest rates are moving higher and higher! How high can they go? Can we get to 12,000 DJIA and 6.25% interest rate? Maybe even 13,000 DJIA and 6.5% long rates? What the heck, why not a 15,000 DJIA and 7% long term interest rate? FWIW, I've started lightening up on my equities -- too soon, it appears. Best wishes, I2
