Knowing SRCM, I wouldn't put it past them to keep mum all week, as long as speculation keeps their stock price keeps soaring.

All I know is the cable show starts in a week and TV Guide/SRCM will be jointly dispalying.

My guess is the co's wanted to get this announcement out of the way so as not to divert attention away from "the deal" when they announce it.
