Eli74;

You are absolutely right. I was just thinking about Microsoft while reading the last several posts. I figured out that several months ago that if you had invested $9,000 in Microsoft when it went public it would amount to 1.2 million- 1.5 million today. However, there is only one Microsoft. Nevertheless, there will be another like it in the future. It probably exists right now. Which one? I'm looking for my next million. How about you?

Potential. That is an interesting word. With confirmed sales and a customer base I would say the company has potential. Without it, I would say it is still a start-up idea. With patents, I would say it is still a start-up but a saleable start-up. It is a question of definitions. One sale does not make a company, yet. Sorry, I'm a hard ass.
