Re: When to Expect New Highs...

Monday: Major indices closed as follows - off their previous highs:

DOW - 1.8%

S&P 500 - 2.4%

NAZ - 4.8%

Another day of fairly low volume. Been so hot in NYC traders may still be at the beach (maybe without their split beepers).

Speaking of "Exact words", we have a clip of Bob talking about Tony and how the price of what you pay for internet stocks matters.

suite101.com

Bob is also saying how the internets have melted down (not corrected) and how the good with the bad went! Very good piece and I agree with Bob's comments on valuation (I just have given up arguing with Tony about "p/e crap" and count my gains)

I should report that Tony might be learning a bit on p/e firsthand as he was a big fan of Dell when it was $50 or more and I was saying I prefer HWP (around $70 then) as the p/e's are better.... now he seems to see the power of value investing...8)
