This company needs a backbone, i.e. a buyer, listening Dr. Ganor? If CSCO, Nortel, LU, begin to push the tech ahead with what their R+D is we are done.

DT in WSJ mentioning converting its position from a minority holder to a majority holder. VOCL?

Insiders selling an average of 100,000 + shares per month since IPO in 1996 - 40% of the entire company to be more precise. This unabated selling puts a downward bias on the stock to be sure, not to mention the impact on the psyche of potential investors. Here is a link to the analysis I did. messages.yahoo.com

BTW, there is mention that DT is buying a majority stake in an affiliate in which they currently own a minority stake (sound familiar?)

Deutsche Telekom Boosts Incentives
For Offering, Hints at Acquisition
By WILLIAM BOSTON
Staff Reporter of THE WALL STREET JOURNAL

BONN -- Deutsche Telekom AG outlined more details of its 11.4 billion euros ($11.8 billion) share offering, sweetening incentives for retail investors in what will be the first such pan-European issue.

As part of its strategy to increase its presence in the European market, Deutsche Telekom also said it may take a controlling stake in a company in which it currently has a minority interest. "We have made the preparations to raise a minority stake to a majority stake," said Joachim Kroeske, the company's chief finance officer.

As for keeping it in the country, I don't care. What I do know is that the share price keeps sliding - largely as a result of insiders selling. Aside from greed at the expense of their own shareholders, I see no good excuse for this.

Also management's lack of raising the public profile of this company or selling much product has hurt.(actually I'll cut them slack there because the industry is not quite ready yet)

As you all know, I have been one of the longest holders and biggest bulls on this one, but at this time, I wish they would sell out. They are already doing it anyway, slowly, and at discount prices on the open market. Additionally, I'd like to see new management take a crack at it - they couldn't do much worse regarding a return on my investment.

As a matter of fact, now that insiders hold only 31% with 21% by DT and the rest public, DT could easily take a controlling interest. If they contact me and about 100 others like me, it's a done deal.

Regards, Dave
