It is incredibly stable and good. I was just saying that over on the thread I was starting before a little birdie told me there was already one here and to move over here.

Here are some things about Red Hat to think about I had posted over there in Software, #reply-10024422 : profitability, competition, copyright, marketing, compatibility.

I have tried Linux and is a very good and stable OS. When you get tired of all the crashes may be you will try Linux on your system.

Any idea why late last night I got tons of error messages, had to halt, reboot, then get dropped into an error recovery shell where I was forced to fsck /dev/hda7 and answer "y" to a 10 minute long set of "do you want to fix" messages? I get to spend tonight figuring out what I have to rebuild tomorrow night.

Nothing's perfect.
