CableLabs Selects TeraLogic's Cougar Platform for OpenCable Interoperability Testing 06/08/1999 PR Newswire (Copyright (c) 1999, PR Newswire) MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Cable Television Laboratories, Inc. (CableLabs(R)) will use TeraLogic's TL850-based Cougar digital TV reference platform as part of a test bed for consumer electronics manufacturers to develop and test products for OpenCable(TM) interoperability compliance. This ensures that products specified for the OpenCable initiative will be interoperable. OpenCable is an effort managed by CableLabs to specify the next-generation digital devices for the home.
