The lines were long and I read the cover of National Enquirer and learned that Jon Benet was murdered by the family cat.

Y'know, this doesn't surprise me a bit. It fits right in with my OJ Theory. Everyone forgets the first day of the Simpson trial when the witnesses said what attracted their attention to the murders. It was a dog howling. A dog, incidentally, whose paws were covered with blood. It's obvious what happened. Right now that dog and the Ramsey cat are getting away with murder. Someone should call the Enquirer.

This has no relevance to anything, but Dear Sweet Spouse fried me up a pork chop last night. Of course I start eating from the easy end. At one point I look down, and the 40% of the pork chop left on my plate next to the mashies has the shape of a quarter note on sheet music. The T-bone formed a very credible flag and stem, and off to the bottom left the fat end formed a lovely oval.

This morning I got all ready to go out the door, and I wave at the Helenator and say "bye-bye, Helen." She grins a toothy one and waves and sings out "tie-tie, Gacky!!"
