Hi Tai, To a large extent latency is an issue at the data-link layer. The architecture and protocols of the DSL modems and DSLAMs will vary depending upon QoS issues. The HDSL has been architected to minimize latency to a greater extent than is the case with ADSL. Of course we are talking about less the 5 milliseconds here so it may seem a quibble, but in a fast market it's nice to know you can pull the trigger quicker than your competitor. It is not merely an issue of bandwidth. Best, Ry
